Every business has an origin story.

Ours started with a gal, a bottle of tan and one big family who were very comfortable giving honest feedback. 😂

Back in Sydney, Tan Thursdays were basically a weekly ritual.

If I walked into a family BBQ without someone asking, “Whoa, what happened to you?” I knew I hadn't gone dark enough.

And somehow, all those years of tanning, experimenting and getting brutally honest feedback from my older sisters eventually turned into Bronzed.

It started with Tan Thursdays

Long before Bronzed existed, I loved a tan.

Over the years I tried different products, shades and techniques, learning what worked, what definitely didn't and how much difference the right colour could make.

Eventually I decided to take the obsession a little more seriously.

I bought a professional tanning machine.

At first, it was friends and family.

Then friends of friends.

Then actual clients.

And suddenly my little tanning setup had become something much bigger.
